Very nice aluminium Luftwaffe Flugzeugführerschule related tag in used, but excellent condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the Flugzeugführerschule Technische Kompanie Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 32. This regiment was formed in Uetersen in October 1936 as Flieger Ersatz Abteilung 32. In April 1939 it became the (I.Abteilung) Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 32. It consisted out of the Stab, I.Abteilung and Flugzeugführerschule (Pilot training school) also known as Schule/F.A.R.32. The schule was based in Oldenburg.
In October 1941 the Schule/F.A.R.32 left the regiment and became part of the Flugzeugführerschule A/B 32. In October 1943 the schule was renamed into Flugzeugführerschule A32 and it was eventually disbanned in early January 1944 and absorbed by the Flugzeugführerschule A9.
The Schule used a lot of different types of planes to trained the pilots in such as the Ar68, Ar96, Fw44,He45, He50 and the Junker W.34.
