The document shows overall signs of wear. It is folded once in the middle and there is a small damage near the lower left corner. The KvKII was awarded on 1.September 1944 to Kurt who served at the Flugzeugführer-Doppelschule A 125. This schule was formed in 1.1.1941 in Neukuhren as FFS A/B 125. Schule/Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment10 was used for this. It was active the entire war. In mid-March 1945 the schule was disbanned and the soldiers where used as ground combat troops. The troops fought in the area of Quedlinburg-Thale in April 1945. The document is signed by Hans-Joachim Rath, Generalmajor und Kommandeur der 1.Flieger-Schul-Division. Rath was wearer of both Deutsches Kreuz in Gold and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuz.
