Very nice Wehrmacht Flugabwehr related tag in used, but excellent condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belongs to a soldier who served in the Flugabwehr M.G. Reserve Kompanie 206. This unit was formed in the second half of 1939. In April 1941 the kompanie was used to formed the 5.batterie Reserve Flak Abteilung 541. It was stationd in Bremen. In late 1942 the 5.batterie was used to form the 4.batterie lichte Flak Abteilung 716. This unit was stationed in Boulogne, France and in March 1943 moved to Beauvais, north of Paris.
The last fase of the war it operated in Luftgau VI.
The 'B' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
