The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served at the Fliegerhorst Kommandantur Crailsheim. This was the HQ of the Fliegerhorst Crailsheim, which is situated between Stuttgart and Neurenberg.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype. The dog tag is broken, but complete and solid.
