The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served at the Fliegerhorst Kommandantur A2/XI Leck. This was the HQ of the Fliegerhorst Leck. '
This was the home of Kampfgeschwader 30, Kampfgeschwader 53, Kampfgeschwader 26 and some others. The airfield was used after the war by the Bundesluftwaffe.
