A very nice zinc Luftwaffe Flieger tag in used, but very good condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in Flieger Ersatz Bataillon VI. The bataillon was formed in the summer of 1942 in Hesepe, Germany. In 1943 it moved to Krefeld. It trained and supplied soldiers for different units.
The 'A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
