Nice Kreuzzug gegen den Komunismus award document in used, but very good condition.
The document shows overall normal signs of wear. The medal was awarded on the 16sth of May 1944 to Eugen who served in the Stab II.Flakregiment 24 (mot). The regiment was formed in the autumn of 1936. With the start of the war the regiment was positioned on the Westwall and supported the 1.Armee during the invasion of France in May 1940. In August 1940 the regiment was stationed in Raum Oostende (Belgium) before it was moved in April 1941 to fight with XXXX.Armeekorps in the Balkan. In June 1941 it was part of the 17.Armee and participated in Operation Barbarossa. In 1942 it fell under the 15.Flak-Division and fought in the Kaukasus. And in 1944 in Jassy (Hungary).
