All 4 documents show overall normal signs of wear. According the notice Herbert died on the 5th of Januari 1944 in the area of Nowondrejewka, Russia. Herbert served within the 8.Kompanie Fallschirmjager Regiment 2. The notice comes with 3 photographs of Herbert. Two of them have writting on the back. During his military service Herbert earned the Fallschirmjagerabzeichen.
