Wehrmacht death notice of a Obergefreiten who served in Stabskompanie III Bataillon Panzer Regiment 33.
The card shows minor signs of wear. The card says Franz Liegenfeld was wounded during heaving combat on the eatern front on the 4th of March 1943. He was then transported to a 'Heimatlazarett were he died during on the 4th of May 1943. He was 27 years old. Franz served within the Stabskompanie III.Bataillon Panzer Regiment 33 which Franz earned the Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse, Verwundeten Abzeichen, Panzerkampfabzeichen and Ostmedaille.
