Death notice of Andras Tromyer who died during combat in Moldavia on the 16th of April 1944.
The card shows overall normal signs of wear. Its an interesting piece because we see clearly that Andreas was a Waffen-SS soldier in the beginning, but looking at the additional information we found, he served in 3.Kompanie Regiments Gruppe 354 which is a Wehrmacht unit the moment he was killed. However we can also see that he was drafted in the SS.Panzer(grenadier) Ausbildungs und Ersatz Bataillon 10. So this explanes why he is wearing an SS tunic. He must have switched to the regular Wehrmacht at some point. Andreas was killed by a shot in the head.
Andreas is burried on the cemetery in Ustia, Moldavia.
Note: we don't own the card shown on the last scan.
