The overall condition of all documents is good. They show normal signs of wear, but no damages. The documents were awarded to (Ober)gefreiten Friedrich Koller who started off serving in the Stellungs Beobachter Abteilung 47 and was stationed in Nothern Russia. He was awarded the Ostmedaille on the 18th of August 1942. The unit became Beobachter Abteilung (tbew) 47 in Ocotber 1943. Friedrich served in the 3rd company(tbew stands for teilbeweglich). In April 1944 he was awarded the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse. The document was signed by General der Infanterie Ehrenfried Boege. Wearer of the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuz mit Eichenlaub.
Friedrich was awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz on the 15th of March 1945 because he was wounded on the 30th of Januari 1945. At this time he served in the Beobachtungs Ersazt und Ausbildungs Abteilung 44 which was stationed in the Czech Republic. The document was signed by Major und Abteilungskommandeur Dr.Portmann.
