Very nice and decorative Wehrmacht promotion document in used, but very good condition.
The document shows overall normal signs of wear. The document says that Unteroffizier Fritz Müller, who served in the 5.Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 86 (mot) was promoted to the rank of Feldwebel on the 1st of December 1938. The II.Bataillon (5.-8.Kompanie) of Infanterie Regiment 86 was formed in November 1938. The regiment was part of the 29.Infanterie-Division (mot). It saw its first combat during the invasion of Poland in September 1939.
In April 1940 the regiment became Schützen Regiment 86 and became part of the 10.Panzer-Division.
The document is signed by Oberst und Regiments-Kommandeur Hans Ehrenberg.
