Nice and rare Austrian Gebirgsjäger field blouse or 'feldbluse'.
When Austria was annexed by Germany (march 1938) the Heer immediately received some Austrian Gebirgsjäger Divisions. In the beginning most of the Austrian forces would keep their own uniforms but replaced all Austrian insignia for German insignia, such as this on.
The tunic is in worn (has some damage, see the photos), but good condition. It's complete with all buttons, has a nice early breast eagle and a nice Bevo Edelweiss Sleeve Badge on the right arm. Both are, in our opinion, period applied by hand. The uniform has the rank of an NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer). The inside of the tunic is also in used but good condition. Not an easy to find tunic. For the sizes in cms, please see the last photo.
