The overall condition of all 5 documents is excellent. They were issued to Unteroffizier Werner Schunke who served in the 12.Kompanie Artillerie Regiment 129. The regiment was part of the 129.Infanterie-Division. It was formed in 1940 and since the 22nd of June 1941 it saw the entire war combat on the Russian front. In areas like Bialystock, Rshew, Brjansk, Bobruisk and Ostpreussen.
Werner was awarded the Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen on the 8th of July 1940 as a Obervormann serving a RAD abteilung. He was awarded the Ostmedaille on the 10th of August 1942. The Eiserne Kreuz 2.Klasse was awarded on the 10th of September 1942 and its signed by General der Nachrichtentruppen Albert Praun. On the 11th of June 1944 he was wounded and earned the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. On the 1st of November 1944 he was wounded a second time and earned the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber. The document is signs by the Abteilung Kommandeur Major der Reserve Alois Hünert.
