The documents show overall normal signs of wear. They are solid. It are 2 promotion documents issued to Unteroffizier Herbert Polten.
- From Unteroffizier to Wachtmeister document. At this time Herbert served in the 4.Lehrbatterie Beobachtungs Lehrabteilung.
- From Wachtmeister to Oberwachtmeister document. At this time Herbert served in the 4.batterie Artillerie Lehr Regiment (mot.)3. The I.Abteilung (1.-4.Kompanie) was formed from the Beobachtungs Lehrabteilung. Very decorative document.
Both Beobachtungs as Artillerie Lehr related items are not that easy to encount.
