Very nice brass World War 1 Artillerie related tag in used, but excellent condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the 8.Artillerie Munitions Kolonne XIII I.Ersatz Abteilung Feld Artillerie Regiment Nr.65. This regiment was part of the 8.Feldartillerie Ersatz-Brigade and in August 1914 it moved to France. It operated in areas like Regniéville, Croix des Carmes, Nurlu und Moislains (Somme), Verdun, Wombaix and many more.
