The overall condition of the document is good. Shows signs of wear. The KvKII was awarded on 20 April 1944 to Peter who served in the 6.Kompanie Grenadier Regiment 931. This regiment was formed in 1942 in Denmark as Landesschützen Regiment 931. In June of that year it was renamed Infanterie Regiment 931 and in October Grenadier Regiment 931. In the summer of 1943 the regiment became Sicherungs-Regiment 931 and was part of the 286.Sicherungs-Division. In Januari 1944 the regiment was put in to action as part of the 4.Armee in the area of Orscha. In Januari 1945 the regiment was used to form Grenadier Regiment 1073 as part of the 541.Volksgrenadier-Division.
