Nice worn dog tag from a soldier who served in the 5.Batterie Leichte Flak Ersatz Abteilung 95 erkennungsmarke.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '5.Batterie Leichte Flak Ersatz Abteilung 95'. This abteilung was formed in the summer of 1939 in Frankfurt with 6 batteries as Flak Ersatz Abteilung 95. In June 1942 it was renamed in to Leichte Flak Ersatz Abteilung 95. It was the entire war stationed in Frankfurt, however 3 batterie saw action in late 1944 in the Eifel area during the Ardennes campaign.
