The album shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with all pages. The album contains a total of 100 photographs in different sizes. It contains many interesting photos. It includes a photo of an Unteroffizier wearing a Heeresbergführerabzeichen (which in itself is very rare)! In addition it includes several photos of Gebirgsjägers in the mountains, photos during training, photos of a ski race during the Olympics (1936) against the Finns and the Swiss and a photo of the 'Graf Zeppelin'.
What also makes the album very interesting is the writings that the maker has put next (or on) to many of the photos. Salient detail: the KIA date is also indicated on many comrades.
All in all a very interesting photo album from a regiment which has a very rich history (fought in a lot of countries) and related objects/items are highly sought after by collectors.
