The overall condition of the document is excellent. The Verwundetenabzeichen was awarded on 5th May 1943 to Paul who served in 5.Kompanie Artillerie Regiment 327. Formed in November 1940 and was part of the 327.Infanterie-Division. From late 1941 to Juni 1942 it was stationed on the Atlantic Coast (France) before it was moved to the east in Dezember of that year. In Februari 1943 it was stationed west from Kursk for 8 months. In Oktober of 1943 it became part of 340.Infanterie-Division and was stationed in areas like Shitomir, Winniza and Brody.
