Nice worn dog tag from a soldier who served within the 4.batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 26.

The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. Flak Ersatz Abteilung 26 is a bit of a mystery unit. There is not a lot of information on the net. What we found is that the abteilung was stationed in Barth, next to Stalag Luft I.
The 'O' on both part of the tags stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
