The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served/was drafted in the 4.batterie schwere Flak Ersatz Abteilung 16. This unit was formed in December 1940 in Greifswald where it operated the entire war.
The 'O' on the back on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
