Nice worn dog tag from a soldier who served in the 3.Kompanie Kradschutzen Ersatz Bataillon 6.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. A well preserved ground find. The Kradschutzen Ersatz Bataillon 6 was formed in December 1940 in Iserlohn and fell under the Division 166. In Mai 1942 it became part of the Kommandeur der Schnellen Truppen VI.
Since December 1940 the Ersatz Bataillon trained and delivered soldiers for the Kradschützen-Bataillon 6 which was part of the 6.Panzer-Division.
The 'A' on both sides of the tag stands for the soldiers bloodtype.
