Nice worn dog tag from a soldier who served in the 3.Batterie Reserve Scheinwerfer Abteilung 148.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. The abteilung was formed in August 1939 in Köln with 3 batteries. In June 1942 it was moved to Vlissingen, Holland, where it stayed before moving to Berlin by November 1943. Here it remained the rest of the war. In July 1942 it was renamed Flakscheinwerfer-Abteilung 148.
