The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '3.Batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 3'. This unit was formed in September in Regensburg with 4 batteries and a Kraftfahr batterie. In 1941/1942 it was converted in to a Schwere Flak Ersatz Abteilung 3. it was stationed the entire war in Regensburg.
The 'O' means the bloodtype.
