The album shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with all pages. The album contains a total of 183 photographs in different sizes. The 3rd kompanie was formed in October 1936 and was, since April 1938, part of the 1.Gebirgs-Brigade. With the division it saw combat in different theatres of the war such as, invasion of Poland, France, Yugoslavia, Russia, Greece, Serbia and Hungary.
The photos in this album where taken during time off, training, arrival in Luxemburg and during combat in Russia. It also contains 2 photographs on where Generalmajor Ludwig Kübler can be seen during a ceremony.
Overall an awesome album of a bataillon with a very rich history!
