The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the 3.batterie Reserve Flakscheinwerfer Abteilung 129. This unit was formed in late August 1939 in Berlin from the III.Abteilung Flak Regiment 112. It operated in the Darmstadt area.
In July the unit was named Flakscheinwerfer Abteilung 129 (O). The '(O)' stands for Ortsfest.
The 'O' stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
