Very nice zinc Wehrmacht Landessschützen related tag in used, but very good condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the 28.Kompanie Landesschützen Bataillon VII/XIII. This bataillon was formed in late August 1939 in Schwabach. In March 1940 it was stationed in Nürnberg and a month later it was renamed into Landesschützen Bataillon 807. It operated the entire war in the Nürnberg area.
The 'BL.Gr.O' on one part of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype or 'Blutgruppe'.
