Both documents show overall normal signs of wear. They where award to Albert who served in the 2.Kompanie Sicherungs Regiment 318. This unit was part of the 213.Sicherungs-Division and was formed in April 1943. It saw combat during withdrawal battles in the Tscherkassy area, in Ukrain as part of the XIII.Armeekorps. The Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz was awarded on the 23.8.1944. The Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse was awarded on the 1.9.1944. Its signed by Generalleutnant und Divisions Kommandeur Alex Göschen.
