The overall condition of the document is fine. Shows signs of wear and it was cut to fit a frame. Its still mounted on the backing of the frame. The KvKII was awarded on 15 November 1943 to Wilhelm who served in the 2.Kompanie Radfahr-Sicherungs Regiment 2. This regiment was formed in November 1939 as Sicherungs Regiment 2. In May 1940 it saw its first combat as part of Heeresgruppe B in France. In June 1941 it participated in the invasion of Russia. In August 1942 the regiment became part of the 286.Sicherungs-Division and in September a Panzerjäger unit was absorbed as the 7th company of the regiment. In May 1943 the regiment was renamed in to Radfahrer-Sicherungs-Regiment 2. The regiment was destroyed in June 1944 as part of Heeresgruppe Mitte.
