Nice worn dog tag from a soldier who served in the 2.Batterie Reserve Flakscheinwerfer Abteilung 518.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. The abteilung was formed in August 1939 in Stettin with 3 batteries. From Januari untill July 1942 the abteilung was used to for the I.Abteilung Flakscheinwerfer-Regiment 6 and became part of the 'Himmelbett Nachtjagd'. A searchlight defenseline on the border of Holland/Germany and Holland itself. After that period the abteilung remained the entire ware in Duisberg.
