Very nice 2.Batterie Leichte Artillerie Abteilung 735 erkennungsmarke in used, but good condition.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '2.Batterie Leichte Artillerie Abteilung 735'. This abteilung was formed in the summer of 1941 in Leipzig with 3 light batteries as a Reserve unit. It fought in Russia. In 1942 it was not a reserve unit anymore and was stationed in the Dnjepropetrowsk area. In November 1943 the abteilung became a Eisenbahngeschutz unit. The unit was probably disbanned in July 1944.
