Very nice aluminium Luftwaffe tag in used, but excellent condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the 2 Ausbildungskompanie Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 63. The regiment was formedi n April 1939 in Eger (Germany) from Flieger Ersatz Abteilung 63. It trained and supplied soldiers for different Luftwaffe units.
In 1941 the regiment moved to Toul, France. And in August 1942 it was renamed into Flieger Regiment 63.
On the back the soldier carved in his POWnr 'A581202'.
