The overall condition of the document is good. Folded in the middle. The woundbadge was awarded on the 27th of September 1941 to Gefreiten Theo who served within the 14.Panzerjager Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 22. He was wounded on 11 September 1941.
This regiment was part of the 1.Infanterie-Division and participated in the invasion of Poland in 1939 and later during the invasion of Belgium and France. In June 1941 it participated in the invasion of Russia.
The document is signed by the Oberst and Regiments-Kommandeur Franz Scheidies. Wearer of the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes and was awarded the Eichenlaub in December 1941.
