Details

Both documents shows overall signs of wear. It consist out of a Deutsche Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen (awarded on 20 March 1940) and a Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (awarded on 23 Juni 1940) document. They were awarded to Gefreiten Wilhelm Eberle who served in the 13th.Infanteriegeschütz Kompanie of Infanterie Regiment 88. Wilhelm got wounded during the invasion of France. Both documents are signed by Oberst Gustav Adolf von Zangen. Wearer of the Ritterkreuzes des Eisernen Kreuzes und Eichenlaub.
