Very nice edelstahl (inox) Luftwaffe Flieger tag in used, but very good condition.
The tag shows overall signs of wear. It to a soldier that served/was drafted in 13.Kompanie Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 53. This regiment was formed in April 1939 in Straubing. In November 1939 the regiment moved to Gutenfeld and in April 1941 it moved to Tongeren, Belgium. Renamed in August 1942 to Flieger Regiment 53 and a III.Bataillon was added.
It was again renamed in June 1944 in Luftgau-Feld-Regiment Belgien-Nordfrankreich (mot. ) 53. The regiment was disbanned in September and absorbed in a Fallschirmjäger-Division. A new Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 53 was formed in Groningen, the Netherlands.
Interesting dog tag and a nice inox variant.
