The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the 11.batterie III.Abteilung Flakscheinwerfer Regiment 4. This regiment was formed in the summer of 1942. The III.Abteilung was formed from the Reserve Flakscheinwerfer Abteilung 249. The regiment was part of the 1.Flakscheinwerfer-Division and operated searchlights in different part in Holland and Belgium.
