Nice and rare 1.Kompanie Ersatz Bataillon Hermann Göring dog tag in worn, but fine condition.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' is a pretty well preserved ground dug. Its solid. The soldier served in the 1.Kompanie Ersatz Bataillon Hermann Göring. This bataillon started as Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung General Göring and moved in May 1940 to Utrecht (Holland). In March 1942 it was named Ersatz Bataillon Hermann Göring and still stationed in Utrecht.
In 1944 it was renamed in Fallschirm-Panzer-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Regiment Hermann Göring. The 4 'B' on the ekm stands for the bloodtype of the soldier.
