Very nice zinc 1.Batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 33 erkennungsmarke in used, but good condition.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '1.Batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 33'. The abteilung was formed in the August 1939 in Halle with 4 batteries. In 1941 it moved to Weimar where it was stationed the entire war en this was also the year it was converted into a schwere Flak Ersatz Abteilung.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldiers bloodtype.
