The award document is in overall good condition. Shows normal signs of wear. Issued on thicker paper then normal. Folded in the middle. The condition of the other document is rough. The KvKII was awarded on 30.August 1941 to Unteroffizier Willi Kuhn. Willi served in 1.Kompanie Bau Bataillon 141. This bataillon was formed in August 1939 out of RAD units and was put into action on the western front. In a short period of the summer of 1941 the batillon was part of the Panzergruppe 4 (See also document). Later in 1941 the bataillon was plaved back under command of the 18.Armee. In August 1943 the bataillon was renamed in Baupionier-Bataillon 141. In early it was put into action in the Kuban area.
