The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served/was drafted in the 1.Kompanie Flieger Technische Schule 4. This unit was formed in Uetersen as Flieger-technische Schule Luftflotte 4. In late December 1943 the school moved to Quackenburg and was renamed Flieger Technische Schule 4. It was disbanned in 1944.
