Very nice and rare version of a Wehrmacht promotion document in used, but good condition.

The document shows overall signs of wear. The document says that Feldwebel Heinrich Stange, who served in the 1.Kompanie Eisenbahn Bau Bataillon 513, was promoted to Stabsfeldwebel as of 1 April 1941. Eisenbahn Bau Bataillon 513 was formed in April 1940 with 4 companies. Companies 2/3 and 4 saw combat during the invasion of France. The 1st company stayed in Germany as the Grukodeis under command of the Stab/Eisb.Pi.Rgt.3. At the time of the promotion the bataillon was part of the Eisenbahn Pionier Regiment z.b.V.701.
The bataillon was renamed in to Eisenbahn-Baupionier-Bataillon 513 in August 1943. At the beginning of 1945 the bataillon was part of the 17.Armee and fought in the area of Weichsel and Karpathen.
