The tag shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the 1.batterie Reserve Flakscheinwerfer Abteilung 258. This unit was formed in late August 1939 in Ludwigsburg from Flak Regiment 25. In 1940 the unit became part of Flakgruppe Harz and in July it moved to Hannover and then to Freiburg.
In July 1942 the unit was renamed into Flakscheinwerfer Abteilung 258. From MAy 1943 it operated in Duisburg where it stayed until the end of the war.
The both 'T' means the soldier had a Tetanus shot. On the back the soldier carved in his POW nr. 'A972526'.
